Bien que la technologie lithium-ion (Li-ion) domine encore, les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chargeurdeportable.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">batteries sodium-ion<\/a> \u00e9mergent comme une option int\u00e9ressante, surtout lorsque le co\u00fbt est un facteur d\u00e9cisif. Fond\u00e9e en septembre 2024, Moonwatt ambitionne de fournir une \u00e9nergie propre et constante, en r\u00e9solvant les probl\u00e8mes li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019intermittence des \u00e9nergies vertes. Ses fondateurs \u2013 Zukui Hu, Guillaume Mancini et Valentin Rota \u2013 ont fait leurs armes chez Tesla Energy.<\/p>\n<h2>Pourquoi miser sur cette chimie ?<\/h2>\n<p>Les batteries sodium-ion, qu\u2019elles soient semi-solides ou solides, s\u00e9duisent par leur s\u00e9curit\u00e9 renforc\u00e9e, leur bonne densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique et leur prix r\u00e9duit.<br \/>\n\u00ab Toutes les chimies ont leurs points forts et leurs faiblesses. Le lithium fer phosphate (LFP) a par exemple supplant\u00e9 le nickel mangan\u00e8se cobalt (NMC) dans le stockage stationnaire, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un co\u00fbt moindre et une dur\u00e9e de vie sup\u00e9rieure \u00bb, d\u00e9taille Rota.<\/p>\n<p>Avec une densit\u00e9 \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique inf\u00e9rieure (140-160 Wh\/kg), elles conviennent parfaitement aux ESS o\u00f9 la taille n\u2019est pas une contrainte. Elles affichent un niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e9gal ou sup\u00e9rieur au LFP, r\u00e9duisant les risques d\u2019incendie, et offrent une long\u00e9vit\u00e9 correspondant aux besoins des centrales solaires.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding: 80% 0 0 0; position: relative;\"><iframe style=\"position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; width: 100%; height: 100%;\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1114771537?autoplay=1&amp;loop=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"> <\/iframe><\/div>\n<h2>L\u2019union du solaire et du stockage<\/h2>\n<p>La capacit\u00e9 photovolta\u00efque mondiale pourrait \u00eatre multipli\u00e9e par dix d\u2019ici 2030, rendant le couplage production-stockage incontournable pour optimiser l\u2019exploitation et \u00e9viter les congestions r\u00e9seau. Moonwatt d\u00e9veloppe des solutions DC basse tension d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es, int\u00e9gr\u00e9es directement aux parcs solaires, limitant ainsi les co\u00fbts et augmentant le rendement.<\/p>\n<p>Contrairement aux solutions conteneuris\u00e9es, leur design modulaire permet de traiter des projets allant de quelques centaines de kW \u00e0 plusieurs GW. \u00ab Nous ciblons les producteurs d\u2019\u00e9nergie et les op\u00e9rateurs publics en Europe et ailleurs, avec un accent sur les nouvelles infrastructures et la modernisation des sites existants \u00bb, pr\u00e9cise Rota.<\/p>\n<h2>Enjeux et avenir du sodium-ion<\/h2>\n<p>Bien que le sodium soit abondant et \u00e9conomique, la diminution des prix du lithium reste un d\u00e9fi. \u00ab La fili\u00e8re sodium-ion est encore jeune, mais sa maturation stabilisera les co\u00fbts. Des chimies comme le NFPP (polyanions) sont id\u00e9ales pour le stockage stationnaire \u00bb, souligne Rota.<\/p>\n<p>Selon Yole Intelligence, le march\u00e9 atteindra 40 GWh en 2029, mais Moonwatt pr\u00e9voit un rythme plus soutenu. En phase de prototype, elle compte lancer des projets pilotes sous un an et atteindre une production commerciale (&gt;1 GWh\/an) d\u2019ici 2027.<\/p>\n<h2>Perspectives et recrutements<\/h2>\n<p>Moonwatt emploie sept personnes et renforce ses effectifs techniques.
